GuildSuper brings health care to your home
GuildSuper has partnered with MetLife to offer a safe and convenient way for members to access virtual health care advice and guidance from the comfort of home through their 360Health Virtual Care program.
What does 360Health Virtual Care offer GuildSuper members that's different from a consultation with a local GP?
Local GPs do incredible work helping people in their communities and they're often the first point of contact when you're looking for health care advice.
That said, we know many of our members are interested in getting expert advice from a broader range of practitioners than might be available in their local areas.
We also know some members find it challenging to attend in-person consultations with a GP, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the positives from this time is that more and more people are comfortable with accessing virtual health care consultations. The benefits of virtual consultations include:
No need to travel to meet with health care experts.
Access to more experts around the country (and safer than 'Dr Google');
Convenient phone and online video consultations;
Secure and accurate health care records shared between your GP and relevant health care professionals to ensure everyone looking after you has the right information.
360Health Virtual Care is a personalised, comprehensive and integrated health care program with virtual consultations provided by Teladoc Health.
Our program enables members, their partners, and their children access to Virtual Care for mental and physical health issues, as well as nutrition consultations, from the comfort of their own home with a confidential and best-practice experience.
What happens when I ask for help through Virtual Care?
You'll connect with one of the Teladoc Health clinicians who'll talk with you about your health concerns first. They'll ask you to sign a consent form so your medical information can be securely shared, and, if you consent, they can connect with your doctor. The clinician will then identify the right combination of services for you – and be there to guide and support you every step of the way.
What are some of the expert services available through Virtual Care?
Virtual Care includes a range of services designed to help you get the right answers and help for your medical concerns, including:
Mental Health Assist – an in-depth review of your mental health by a team of experts in Australia, followed by ongoing support from a mental health nurse.
Expert Medical Opinion – a detailed review of your physical condition by experts to help you understand your diagnosis, learn more about suitable treatment options, and choose treatment and recovery options.
Ask a Clinician – a convenient and quick way to have your medical questions answered by a GP, Paediatrician or Mental Health Expert. Simply ask your questions any time and one of our doctors will respond in writing within 24 hours. The service can be used as many times as needed.
Nutrition Consultation – a detailed consultation with a qualified dietitian about your food preferences, nutrition and general wellbeing. You'll receive a personalised nutrition plan.
Fitness and Recovery – seek advice and a personalised action plan from an Exercise Physiologist to help with fitness or recovery.
